There is light for the next step

The psalmist did not call the word a floodlight. He called it a lamp to his feet. A lamp does not show you the whole road at once; it shows you where to put your foot next.

Some of us are waiting to see the whole year before we move. But God is not hiding the road from you to frustrate you. He is teaching you to walk with Him, one lit step at a time.

This morning, do not ask for the whole map. Open the word, take the light it gives you for today, and take the next step in obedience. Tomorrow there will be light for tomorrow.
