A quiet place before the noise

Before the crowds found Him, before the healing and the questions, Jesus rose a great while before day and went to a solitary place to pray.

If the Son of God needed the quiet place, so do we. The noise of the day will come for your attention soon enough. Give the first of it to the Father.

It does not need to be long. It needs to be honest. Sit with Him before you speak to anyone else, and let Him set the tone of your day.
